Khaby Lame: The Hilarious New Social Media Phenomenon

Khaby Lame has built an audience of over 100 million people without saying a word.

Born on March 9, 2000 in Senegal, the young Khabane Lame who came to Italy from his native land at early age, subsequently he will continue his secondary studies there. Following the loss of his job in a factory near Turin, Khabane Lame started posting videos on TikTok last year, under the name “Khaby Lame” and very quickly he went from anonymous to a real star in Italy. His videos are known to be short comedy sketches where he sarcastically points to people who complicate simple tasks. “To be honest, I wasn't expecting this worldwide success at all. Of course, I'm happy to be the most followed person in Italy, but my goal is simply to entertain people” he said to La Corriere della Sera. In July 2021, Khaby Lame becomes the second most followed TikTok account in the world.
